The Gadsden Green Tenant Union invites you to our first ALL-MEMBERS MEETING! This is your chance to come together with your neighbors, share your experiences, and build the collective power needed to demand real change in our community.

Why This Meeting Matters:

For too long, tenants at Gadsden Green have faced unsafe living conditions, rising utility bills, and a lack of transparency in redevelopment plans that threaten to displace us from the homes and community we’ve built. But the time for isolation is over. Together, we are stronger than the landlords, city and politicians who profit from our struggles.

This meeting marks the start of a movement led by tenants, for tenants.

What We’ll Do:

• Connect as a Community: Meet your neighbors, share stories, and build solidarity. You’re not alone in this fight.

• Set Our Agenda: Decide on the key issues we want to tackle, from demanding repairs to stopping displacement or being part of the redevelopment conversations.

• Plan for Action: Learn how we can collectively organize to assert our rights and hold Charleston Housing Authority and policymakers accountable.

• Imagine Our Future: Dream big about what Gadsden Green can look like —a community where tenants have control and housing serves people, not profits.
