The SC Housing Justice Network is a multi-racial, working-class organization dedicated to building tenant power. We do this by organizing campaigns that pressure landlords to meet tenant demands, as well as pushing forward policy changes that prioritize tenants and housing rights.
We are not lawyers or service providers; we are a group of tenant leaders and organizers who struggle together for tenants’ rights. We do this work because no one fights for tenants except other tenants. Together we will win better living conditions for ourselves and our fellow tenants.

Local Resources
While we’re not a direct service or legal firm, we do partner with and recommend some resources for tenant seeking legal support, direct service support and getting learning what your rights are as a SC tenant.

Change happens when we work together. We need people power! Learn about how to get in a simple way, like leaving a public comment or writing a legislator or in a more involved way, like starting a tenant union in your neighborhood or working on our national or local campaigns.
